1 DESIGNER. 1 DEPARTMENT. 70,000+ STUDENTS.
My favorite part about working for the department was interacting with various offices on campus and attending annual events aimed at assisting students with landing their dream careers. Developing marketing involving diversity, graduate resources, and women's career success allowed me to express my creativity while staying consistent with UCF's modern brand.

Career Readiness on the UCF App
My first major project with Career Services involved creating graphics to market a lineup of events leading up to Career Expo, an event each semester connecting thousands of students with hundreds of employers. It was requested that I design based on the premise of "counting down," along with staying true to UCF's black and gold brand. After I created the digital and print marketing, it was also featured on the UCF app, where students could access information about the different events.
  Sandwich Boards
One of the major pieces of print marketing that I was ecstatic to produce from design to assembly. These pieces were extremely rewarding to see "in the wild" around campus!
Rebrand: Multicultural And First Generation Knights
I proposed this event rebrand to the marketing coordinator since I felt that it needed a fresh update. Brighter colors and graphics that were representative of the student population were my initial thoughts. Marketing that was more vector-based allowed for more creativity since we decided to phase out some of the previous photography used to promote events.
The graphics were converted into a full brand campaign, complete with social media sizes, banners, email signatures and TV monitor sizes. The new flyer is pictured on the far right.

  Department Giveaways
I love creating tangible items, so it was only fit to design the staff T-shirt and sticker sheet to promote Career Services. Both would be featured as prizes for students and given to event participants. I recreated the building for students to become familiar with where the office is located on campus, as well as having my interview-inspired Knightro mascot approved by athletics!
Women in STEM Event Booklet
I had the pleasure of working with the executive director of The Center for Initiatives in STEM (iSTEM) and the Career Services liaison to the College of Engineering and Computer Science for two years. The event involves connecting college students majoring in STEM with professionals in the industry. I chose to include design elements representing each letter of STEM within the hair of the motif on the cover. The photo at the far right is the printed booklet at the event, which was a huge success and a great networking experience!
