Hi, I'm Lauren! I'm an award-winning graphic designer, branding specialist, and freelancer based in South Florida. I've enjoyed being creative as long as I can remember, when I would design handmade cards with small swatches of fabric, beads and drawings for relatives and friends as a child. I loved bringing texture into the two-dimensional realm, which is where my passion for design began.
Fast forward years later, where I enrolled at the University of Central Florida with a major in graphic design and a minor in mass communication. Ever since designing for criminal justice research starting in 2020, I've dedicated my career to visualizing data and establishing project branding. Providing relatable graphics for help-seeking individuals and educating professionals that research can be visually appealing are my favorite aspects about being a graphic designer. I later became involved with other universities' initiatives, which increased my knowledge about designing for suicide prevention, substance usage, relationship abuse in universities, and public health.
My passion is educating through graphics and my goal is to instruct students pursuing the research field to design visuals with an empathetic lens. When I'm not designing, you can find me in your local antique mall, out on a walk, or creating 3D interior design commissions using Blender.
